Annual Buddy Day (2012)
Saturday 1st September 2012
We’re holding our annual “Buddy Day” this Saturday (1st September), which is an opportunity for anyone to fly in another aircraft type to the one they normally fly. Students, Pilots (and maybe even visitors) alike - just ask one of the folk milling around on the day if they have a plane and a spare seat.
The “Day” will run from around 10.00am until 4.00pm (all times are “-ish” as it’s a very informal event) and is a chance to see what other aircraft are like – maybe different to what you are learning on or are used to flying. It’s about sharing experience – Pilots may ask for a small contribution on the day, may swap you a trip or maybe even settle for a cup of tea.
Aircraft available so far – the TB9 (G-BKUE), the 172s, the Warrior, a rare Emeraude tail-dragger, and others yet to be announced ..........
